Just got an email about volunteering for the GDC. I'm pleased to say that it's one thing that I won't have to mess with this year. The volunteer program itself is OK, but the folks running it really have some growing up to do. Last year, Microsoft refused to give them any promotional stuff until the show was almost over, and they'll probably do the same this year. I don't blame 'em a bit.

Also, it took 'em almost a year to cash my check for the hotel room. Guess I can't complain about that :)
