And my prediction came dazzlingly true. It's woot right down to the snarky descriptions, only with a different color-scheme. And the first product it sells is a wordpress plugin (don't be fooled by the fake box, it's a download) that hooks your site up to somebody's ad-network for $50.
Oh well, sometimes you eat the bahr and sometimes the bahr eats you. I'm now officially on the ground floor of a pyramid that'll never be built :)
On a related note, be sure to put Giveaway of the Day and Game Giveaway of the Day on your RSS feed aggregator. Like deal dot com dot com, they have a different piece of software of dubious value on the site every day. Unlike deal dot com dot com, they don't charge for 'em. And sometimes they have something pretty cool. The little breakout-game today is really good.
The only hitch is that the installer you download only works on the day of the giveaway, so if you see something potentially interesting, you can't download the installer and install it later.
And on a slightly related note, why do all those products that make fake boxes for your downloadable products always make a box that looks like it's about four inches thick? I'd make a fake box for Bulldozer, but I figure I'd scare people away because they'd assume it comes with a 1,500 page manual :)
