I just downloaded the latest PDF of Develop Magazine (click the "Download Print Edition" button in the upper-right corner), which is a Euro-centric game development magazine. It's glossy and fairly lacking in technical information, so if you're used to US game development magazines you won't miss a thing.
Actually there is something you'll miss from US game development magazines. Page 11 of the latest issue (10/07) is a full-page color ad for Pivotal Games featuring an obese naked man holding a pig. And you can see everything (on the man, not the pig).
Interestingly, the ad doesn't appear to have raised a single eyebrow. At least nowhere I've seen.
